Emissary Elixirs South Africa: MTL Nic Salt Longfills & Prices (2026)
Emissary Elixirs is a South African e-liquid house built around one idea: clean, uncomplicated MTL flavour sold as a longfill instead of a pre-mixed bottle. If you have ever squinted at a bottle labelled “30ml Flavour Shot” and wondered whether you can just vape it, this is the guide. Everything listed here is in stock — the full range lives on the Emissary Elixirs brand page.
What a longfill actually is
An Emissary 30ml bottle is not 30ml of ready-to-vape liquid. It contains 15ml of flavoured base in a 30ml bottle, and the empty 15ml at the top is where your nicotine goes. You add a 15ml nic shot — salt or freebase, your choice — cap it, shake it, and you have 30ml of finished e-liquid at whatever strength that shot works out to.
This is why the format exists. Nicotine is the part of e-liquid that is regulated, taxed and short-dated. Selling the flavour separately means the bottle keeps longer, ships cheaper, and lets you choose your own strength rather than accepting whatever the manufacturer decided. The trade-off is one extra minute of mixing and one extra item in the basket.
Salt or freebase — which shot to add
Emissary’s line is tuned for mouth-to-lung, so a nic-salt shot is the natural pairing: smoother at higher strengths, quicker to hit, and better suited to the tight draw of a pod or an MTL tank. Add a salt shot and you land in familiar 20–35mg territory.
Freebase shots work too, and are the right call if you are running one of these in a slightly airier MTL setup at lower strength. The base is the same; the throat hit and the ramp-up differ. If you are not sure which family you belong to, our nic salts guide lays out the difference in plain terms.
Best-selling Emissary Elixirs products at ADVapes
Tropical Punch — 30ml Longfill
R199
The one that moves fastest. A mixed tropical fruit punch — sweet without being sickly, and it holds up well at MTL strengths.
Pure Green — 30ml Longfill
R199
Crisp green apple with a cool finish. The most “all-day” flavour in the Pure line and an easy first Emissary to try.
Terra — 12mg 30ml (ready-mixed)
R169
No mixing required. A ready-to-vape 12mg iced MTL liquid — the option to grab if you want Emissary without buying a nic shot.
What it costs per millilitre
A R199 longfill plus a nic shot lands you 30ml of finished liquid for well under what most pre-mixed 30ml salts sell for, and the gap widens if you buy shots in bulk. The ready-mixed Terra at R169 is the exception that proves the rule — it is cheaper up front precisely because it is a lower strength and a smaller range.
Don’t forget the nic shot
A longfill on its own is 0mg. If you want nicotine in it, add a 15ml nic shot to your basket at the same time — it is the single most common thing customers leave out of a first Emissary order.
