Vapengin South Africa: Ceres 30K, Mars 2 20k & Mecha 40K (2026 Guide)
Vapengin has built its South African following on one thing: puff counts. Where a standard disposable taps out at 600 or 800 puffs, a Vapengin is measured in tens of thousands. This guide covers the three devices that matter in the range in 2026 — the Ceres 30K, the Mars 2 20k and the newer Mecha 40K — along with flavours, prices and what is actually on the shelf. The full line-up lives on the Vapengin brand page.
Vapengin Ceres 30K
The Ceres 30K is the device most people mean when they say Vapengin. It is rated at roughly 30,000 puffs, runs 50mg nicotine salt, and lists at R330. The flavour range leans hard into fruit and ice: Strawberry Watermelon, Strawberry Kiwi Ice, Raspberry Cherry Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Sour Apple, Mango Ice, Peach Berry Ice, Juicy Peach, Pineapple Apple Pear and Watermelon Ice.
Every Ceres 30K flavour is currently out of stock at ADVapes, so we have not linked the individual product pages here — there is nothing to buy on them yet. They are expected back, and the brand page is the place to watch.
Vapengin Mars 2 20k
The Mars 2 20k is the mid-weight option: about 20,000 puffs, 50mg nic salt, R319. It is a slightly smaller, lighter device than the Ceres, which some people prefer for pocket carry. The flavour list runs to Cherry Ice, Mango Ice, Watermelon Ice, Blackberry Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Grape Cranberry, Pineapple Mint, Juicy Peach, Lychee Raspberry Cherry and Passion Fruit Kiwi Guava.
Like the Ceres, the Mars 2 is out of stock across all flavours at the moment, and is not linked here for the same reason.
Vapengin Mecha 40K
The Mecha 40K is the current flagship and the biggest of the three at roughly 40,000 puffs, again at 50mg and R330. Flavours include Cherry Ice, Cool Mint, Triple Mango, Watermelon Ice, Sour Apple, Strawberry Kiwi, Blueberry Raspberry, Raspberry Grape, Pineapple Coconut and Lemon Passionfruit Grapefruit. It is also the only part of the Vapengin range with anything on the shelf right now.

Mecha 40K — Cherry Ice (50mg)
R330
The biggest puff count in the range at roughly 40,000, with a sharp, cold cherry that stays consistent right to the end. The one Vapengin in stock today.
Which puff count is right for you?
Puff ratings are lab figures, not guarantees — how long a device really lasts depends on how hard and how often you draw. As a rough guide, a heavy vaper will get through a 20,000-puff device in two to three weeks, while a lighter user might stretch a 40K over a month or more.
The more useful way to think about it is cost per puff. At R319 for 20,000 puffs the Mars 2 already undercuts a small disposable, and the Mecha 40K at R330 for 40,000 is cheaper again. If you want the full picture on how puff counts are calculated and what they actually mean in daily use, our disposable vapes buying guide goes into it properly.
One thing to be aware of: all three devices are 50mg nicotine salt only. There is no lower-strength or 0mg option anywhere in the Vapengin range. If 50mg is stronger than you want, a refillable pod system lets you choose your own strength instead.
