Nic salt MTL longfills are the flavour concentrates and nicotine shots you combine to make your own mouth-to-lung (MTL) nicotine salt liquid. “Longfill” means the flavour bottle has space left in it for you to add the nicotine and base; “MTL” means the finished liquid is meant for low-power pod devices where you draw into the mouth first, like a cigarette, rather than straight to the lungs.
The two halves. A flavour shot (typically 10ml of concentrate in a 30ml bottle, R160 for Bard, R199 for Emissary Elixirs) has no nicotine. A nic shot (a 6Zero 20mg 30ml shot is R130) supplies it. Which nic shot you need depends on the strength you want and how much space is in the flavour bottle. The shot’s label tells you what it makes: “20mg 30ml makes 60ml” means adding the whole 30ml to 30ml of flavour and base gives 60ml at 10mg. Half the shot gives roughly 5mg. Work backwards from the strength you want before you order.
Salt vs freebase. Nicotine salt is smoother at higher strengths and is the standard for small pod devices. Freebase nicotine is harsher above about 12mg and is meant for larger direct-lung devices. Make sure the nic shot you pair with an MTL flavour shot is a salt shot; the Additives & Shots section stocks both types.
